SSCS held its year-end grades 1-5 elementary school Awards Ceremony June 3 honoring students for achievement in academics, music, attendance and citizenship. Thank you to members of the fifth grade and high school bands for their musical performances.

No minutes missed … no absences, no tardiness or early dismissals for any reason with the exception of a school sponsored field trip.

PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE

The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding commitment to academic achievement. To be eligible, students must earn a Grade Point Average between 90-100 and receive a recommendation from their teacher. As part of the criteria, recommendations have included activities in which the student demonstrates high motivation, initiative, integrity, intellectual depth, leadership qualities and/or exceptional judgment.
