fifth and sixth graders read their family tributes on stage

The final Morning Program on the school year on May 29 featured a salute by all elementary classes to National Family Month. National Family Month is observed during the five-week period between Mother’s Day in May and Father’s Day in June. It is timed to coincide with the end of the school year, when families generally start spending more time together over the summer break. Each K-5 class staged a special tribute to their own family members (from parents to pets) with song, dance, essays, poetry and props describing what makes their families special to them. Thank you for a special Kindergarten song and dance – We Are Family – and to our Spartan families for all you do!
