A Baccalaureate program was held on June 16 for the SSCS Class of 2026 at the Sharon Springs Village Pavilion. A Baccalaureate is a spiritual service held a few days before formal graduation – this year on June 20. It gives seniors and their families a quiet space to reflect, listen to inspirational speakers, and celebrate their SSCS transition. Several members of the Spartan class and their families attended the ceremony led by Class Advisors Dan Cornwell and Anne Allen. Pastor Hannah Pizza (mother of class member Griffin Pizza) gave an inspiring message and blessing for the class. Class President/Salutatorian Ava Jump and Class Treasurer Hailey Cashman presented a “class look-back” while class members Leighton Dunston, Gavin Smith and Lily Perrotti did readings and Gia Robinson read a poem she wrote. Best of luck to the Class of 2026!
