NOTE FROM KINDERGARTEN TEACHER ANNE LAIER

As we celebrate this very special milestone, I want to take a moment to thank you for sharing your amazing children with me this year. Your support, encouragement and involvement have played such an important roles in their success. Whether you volunteered, helped with homework, attended school events or simply listened to stories about their day, your efforts have made a difference.

Thank you for all the times I sent your child home with slime, glitter, paint, mystery crafts, and countless treasurers tucked in their backpack! Kindergarten is a wonderfully messy adventure, and I appreciate your patience as we explored, created and learned together.

I am incredibly proud of everything these students have achieved this year. Kindergarten is so much more than learning letters, numbers and how to read. It is a year filled with tremendous academic, social and emotional growth. Over the past months I have watched these children become more confident learners, thoughtful problem solvers, independent thinkers, and caring classmates.

Most importantly, they have shown what it means to be kind friends. They have learned how to share, help one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and offer support when someone needs a hand. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn have made our classroom a truly special place.

While I will miss seeing their smiling faces in our classroom next year, I am excited to watch them to continue to grow and succeed. They have bright futures ahead of them, and I know they will accomplish wonderful things in first grade and beyond.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your child’s journey. It has been an honor and a joy to watch them learn, grow and shine. I will always cherish the memories we made together this year. Congratulations Kindergarten graduates! The adventure is just beginning!
