Student members of the SSCS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter showcased their excellence at the FBLA State Leadership Conference, held in Rochester, April 15-17. This year’s theme was themed “Igniting Innovation; Sparking Success.”
Attending the state conference with some 800 of their peers were SSCS chapter members Kaylee Crewell, Ava Jump, Maya Korona, Elijah Lasky, Madison Lynk, Tyler Lyon, Audrey Thurley, Devin Tissiere and Clayton VanPatten. They were accompanied by FBLA Advisor Cyle Conley.
SSCS members captured the following awards at this state event giving them the opportunity to attend the FBLA National Leadership Conference/Competition to be held in San Antonio, Texas from June 29 to July 2. This recognition is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

- Ava Jump, Third Place, Business Law
Additionally, Ava Jump and Yasmin Issa, both SSCS seniors and longtime FBLA members, were inducted into the FBLA Honor Society.
