Three members of the SSCS FFA traveled to Camp Oswegatchie in Croghan, New York April 6-8 for a trip to participate in a program on teamwork and leadership.
The goal of this program is to get students to work together and challenge themselves outside their comfort zone.
FFA is a youth organization that prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Hands-on experiences like the rope challenges helps FFA members develop their potential and gives them the tools to achieve real-world success.
The Oswegatchie Educational Center is owned and operated by the New York FFA Leadership Training Foundation, Inc. Its mission is to provide youth and adults with meaningful experiences in leadership training, environmental education, and outdoor recreation.
Attending the leadership trip with SSCS Advisors Anne Allen and Dan Cornwell were students Colton Starr, Zoey Saltsman and Trever Killenberger. They combined with a group of students from BKW.
