Sharon Springs held its 15th Annual Sharon Springs Math Honor Society Induction Ceremony on Friday, May 12th. Several students were inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta (which is a National High School and Two Year College Mathematics Honor Society with over 75,000 student members in more than 1,500 schools). Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two year college students.
In addition, several additional students were inducted as Junior Members into the Honor Society where they will be encouraged to continue to grow their mathematical abilities over the years to come.
