PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

SSCS Families!

As we take advantage of the stretch of nice fall weather, we plan to conduct a few more of our state-required emergency drills in the coming week. These practice drills are an important part of keeping our students and staff safe, and the good weather gives us a chance to complete them with minimal disruption.

This week has also been filled with school spirit as we celebrate Homecoming. It has been wonderful to see so many students, staff, and families showing their Spartan pride—whether through decorations, themed dress-up days, or cheering each other on. We encourage the entire community to come together for the Homecoming Parade and Bonfire on Friday evening and then join us again for the soccer games on Saturday.

Both our emergency drills and our Homecoming traditions connect back to this year’s theme: One Team, All In. Whether we are practicing safety, supporting our athletes, or celebrating as a school community, we are strongest when we stand together with respect, pride, and purpose.

Mr. Yorke, School Principal/Superintendent of Schools

YEARBOOK! YEARBOOKS! YEARBOOKS!

The yearbook staff and advisors are trying to empty out our old inventory!  We will have yearbooks at the bonfire for sale by “donation”.  Whatever you are willing to give for a past yearbook is appreciated.  If you would like a particular year, please email both Mrs. Field and Mrs. Korona, and if we have it in stock, we will make sure it is there for you!  We will also put some in the concession stand the day of the Homecoming Games if you cannot make it to the Bonfire on Friday night. These make great gifts for alumni!
