PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

A reminder that school is closed for students in K-12 on Monday, November 10th for a Superintendent’s Conference Day and also on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day. School will reopen to students on Wednesday, November 12th.

First Quarter Report Cards in the Mail

This is a friendly reminder that report cards for the first marking period will be mailed home this Friday, November 7, 2025. As we reach this check-point in the school year, we encourage families to take time together to review each student’s progress and celebrate the achievements so far.

This is also a great opportunity for students to reflect on their goals and growth, both academic and personal. We invite you to have conversations at home about what’s going well and where there may be room for improvement. Setting specific, realistic goals for the second marking period can help keep students motivated and focused.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s report card, please don’t hesitate to reach out to their teachers. Open communication helps ensure that we are working together to support every student’s success.

Thank you, as always, for being partners in your student’s education. We look forward to a strong and positive second marking period!

Looking Ahead: Parent-Teacher Conferences
Strong communication between home and school is one of the best ways to support students. Our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, November 25th: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 26th: Half-Day Conferences, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

We encourage all parents and guardians to attend. These meetings are a great opportunity to celebrate student progress, discuss areas for growth, and strengthen the partnership that makes SSCS such a special learning community.
