PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
There will be no Weekly Bulletin published next week due to the Thanksgiving break.
As we head into Thanksgiving, the SSCS family extends heartfelt thanks to our students, staff, families, and community. Your support, hard work, and kindness make our small school an extraordinary place to learn and grow. We are grateful for each of you and wish everyone a safe, restful, and happy holiday season!
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Strong communication between home and school is one of the best ways to support students. Our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, November 25th: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 26th: Half-Day Conferences, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
We encourage all parents and guardians to attend. These meetings are a great opportunity to celebrate student progress, discuss areas for growth, and strengthen the partnership that makes SSCS such a special learning community.
GOBBLE GRAMS
Let’s appreciate the people we want to show gratitude to in our SSCS Community! Gobble Grams are for sale during lunches! Elementary students can also buy them between 11:30-12:00 for $1 each. Fill them out and drop them in the large envelope on Mrs. Field’s door! Student Council will attach a Hershey’s Hug/Kiss to it and have them delivered on Wednesday, Nov. 26 in time for Thanksgiving! Let’s show our gratitude and spread kindness!
TURKEY FEATHER CONTEST
Buy feathers designated in your class color during lunch – 50 cents a feather or 3 for a $1! The Homeroom in grades 6-12 with the most feathers on it will win a very special Hot Cocoa and Cookie party on the Activity Day before Christmas.
BIDDY BASKETBALL STARTING SOON – SIGN UP NOW!
It is not too late to sign up for Biddy basketball! Students in grades 3-6 will start practicing in December and games will start in January. If you have not sent your form in but are interested, it is not too late to sign and return it to school. If you need a form there are extra copies in the Main Office. Any questions about biddy basketball should be directed to Amy Cornwell at aim_09@hotmail.com. We look forward to another great season!
SADD AND NHS POINSETTIA SALE
It’s that time of year again for our beautiful Poinsettia sale! Cost is 1 for $14, 2 for $25, 3 for $36. The colors are red, white, and pink. Orders are due on Dec. 2 and delivery will be on Wednesday, Dec. 10!
CLARION YEARBOOKS OLD!
For the 2025-2026 year only, the Clarion staff is trying to get rid of old inventory. If there is a year that you would like to add to your collection, please email or Kinvo Mrs. Field and/or Mrs. Korona. We are selling these on a donation basis. If you are willing to donate $5 or more, we’d be happy to give you a yearbook from a previous year!

The 2026 Clarion yearbooks are on sale NOW! These are $45 each… and we are looking for presales so we know how many to order! We are going to have a fun signing event in conjunction with the Student Council at the end of the year for students in K-12… so be ready! Order now and we will print off a gift certificate to give to your child for Christmas! This makes a great gift!

WEEKLY BULLETIN SUBMISSIONS
SSCS will continue to produce this document each week as a service to the SSCS community. Similar to last year, classified ads, such as advertisements for the sale of items, help wanted ads, etc., will no longer be accepted. Advertisements will only be accepted if it relates to a potential educational benefit for our students or it has the potential to benefit the Sharon Springs community. SSCS reserves the right to edit any submission. For consideration, please email by 3 p.m. on Tuesdays to weeklybulletin@sharonsprings.org.
