PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

After what has felt like a long, cold, and snowy winter, it was wonderful to see temperatures climb into the high 60s this week. The warm weather was a welcome sign that spring is just around the corner. Of course, the rapid thaw did create an unexpected challenge for our building’s drainage system, which resulted in our emergency closure on Tuesday. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and patience, and we want to extend a special thank you to our maintenance crew for their quick response and hard work addressing the issue. We also hope our students enjoyed the unexpected fair-weather day off.

As the weather warms and the excitement of spring arrives, it’s important for students to remain focused on doing their best each day. This includes dressing appropriately for school, communicating with teachers when questions or concerns arise, and giving their maximum effort in the classroom. At the same time, we encourage students to enjoy the longer days and warmer temperatures by spending time outdoors, staying active, and appreciating the beauty of our community. A healthy balance of hard work and time in nature is a great way to finish the school year strong.
