PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
As we head into the holiday recess, I want to wish all of our students, families, and the greater Sharon Springs community a wonderful holiday season and a very Happy New Year.
This time of year always reminds me how special it is to be part of such a warm, caring, and close-knit school community. Some of the best moments of this season came through our Sharing and Caring efforts, seeing so many SSCS educators give generously to ensure families had access to quality, delicious, and holiday-themed food; watching the joy on students’ faces as they received gifts; and coming together as a community for our traditional dinner, band and chorus concerts, and spirit week. These moments truly capture the heart of who we are.
Each of these experiences is a powerful reminder that our small school is more than just a place for academic growth. It is a place where relationships are built on mutual respect, compassion, and genuine care for one another and for each other’s happiness.
As our school closes for the next two weeks, I hope everyone in the SSCS community has time to rest, reflect on our many blessings, and begin thinking about future goals; so that together, we can ensure that “best” continues to get even better. Enjoy the break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year.

SSCS will continue to produce this document each week as a service to the SSCS community. Similar to last year, classified ads, such as advertisements for the sale of items, help wanted ads, etc., will no longer be accepted. Advertisements will only be accepted if it relates to a potential educational benefit for our students or it has the potential to benefit the Sharon Springs community. SSCS reserves the right to edit any submission. For consideration, please email by 3 p.m. on Tuesdays to weeklybulletin@sharonsprings.org.
