SSCS held a very successful Maker Faire and Cardboard Challenge for grades K-12 on March 12 in the school gym. Similar to the STEAM Expo, a Maker Faire is a celebration of invention, creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Students showcased their experiments and displays for family and the community in the subject areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

The Cardboard Challenge gave students an opportunity to share their creativity, using cardboard to create amazing things from animals to forts. Kids of all ages were challenged to create and build anything they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.
