Sam-I-Am’s friend might not have liked Green Eggs and Ham but SSCS loved the second graders’ theatrical performance of the Dr. Seuss classic book at our most recent (March) elementary school Morning Program. After a month of celebrating the famous children’s author and his March birthday, his characters came to life on the auditorium stage under the direction of their teacher Mrs. Baker. This included a mouse and a house, a goat and a boat, a train in the rain, and so on. The second grade cast did an amazing job learning their parts and working together. Jaydon Detweiler and Warren Ducharme led them as the grumpy man who did not like green eggs and ham. A special thank you to Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Ducharme for all their help.
