SSCS Superintendent/Principal Thomas Yorke
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at SSCS! Our team at SSCS hopes you are full of hope for the upcoming school year while enjoying the final days of summer! We are thrilled and honored to have you entrust us with your child(ren) for another year of growth. Our continued mission is to work together with our collective passion, effort and knowledge to create opportunities for all students to be successful.
As we open the doors to the 2025 – 2026 school year, a sense of gratitude and hope fill my mind and heart. This year’s theme – One Team, All In – reminds us that our strength lies in solidarity.
Whether in the classroom, on the stage, in the field, or in the countless unseen ways we support one another, we are most powerful when we are united in belief that turns to action. This is especially true as we enter a year of new beginnings.
With fresh initiatives ahead and the addition of new colleagues after the retirement of several long-standing pillars of our school, our shared commitment to hope, hard work, and kindness will define the culture we create together.

As we embrace the year ahead, our staff, students, parents and SSCS families carry forward a culture of relentless optimism – encouraging one another, investing in each student, and believing in what is possible. Together, as One Team, All In, we will write another year’s worth of stories of growth, resilience, and achievement.
At SSCS, we believe deeply that every student will excel when they are provided with the environment, belief and support needed for success.
We aim to provide a welcoming, engaging, and distraction-free learning environment – one where every student feels they belong, and where our small school with a huge heart continues to thrive. Together, we are One Team, All In!
We encourage you to reach out to our office with any questions. We look forward to partnering with our families this year as we work together to support our students.
Thank you for Your Partnership,
Principal/Superintendent Thomas Yorke
