That pesky Pigeon we were first introduced to by our Kindergarteners at Thanksgiving returned to SSCS Morning Program on Dec. 19 with Donna Baker’s second grade production of “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh.”
While the Pigeon had his mind set this time on driving the Christmas sleigh this holiday season, Santa Claus and his cast of characters by children’s author Mo Willems had other ideas. Despite the Pigeon’s desperate attempts at taking the reins, characters like Mrs. Claus, Cindy Lou Who, Santa’s Elves and Reindeer, and even the Grinch and his dog, Max, would not hear of it! In the end, Santa made the Pigeon his official “sleigh bell ringer” instead and all had a Merry Christmas! We wish you and your Spartan families the same!
