Members of the SSCS FFA prepared and donated 20 birthday cake kits to the Sharon Springs Food Pantry this month to help families in need. This project was done in cooperation with the New York State FFA and State Grange to ensure families and senior citizens can celebrate with ingredients no longer covered as part of federal food assistance programs. These kits supply the makings for a cake, including the cake pan, frosting, candles and a card to bring joy and something sweet to our families.
