2025-26 BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY INFORMATION
Once again, for the 2025 – 2026 school year, school supplies and materials will be provided by Sharon Springs CSD for all SSCS students. Through bulk purchasing and careful fiscal planning, our thoughtful Sharon Springs CSD Board of Education agreed that school supplies are part of the resources necessary to provide the conditions for each student to be successful! CTE Students Compete at SkillsUSA Event, Robinson Captures Third Place

Giavanna Robinson

Congratulations to SSCS’ Giavanna Robinson, one of 31 Capital Region BOCES Career & Technical Education students to medal at this year’s regional SkillsUSA competition held March 19 in Albany. Robinson, a student in the CTE Early Childhood Education program, was part of a team that captured third place in the SkillsUSA Promotional Bulletin Board category. The 2025 Area III SkillsUSA Competition featured more than 400 students from dozens of schools testing their skills in 32 events. Other Sharon Springs students competing this year included:

  • Alexzina Merritt, Crime Scene Investigation
  • Emily Gwozdz, Electrical Construction Wiring
  • Caitlyn Engle, Job Skills Demo
  • Joseph Nedelsky, Security Corps
