Mr. Scimeca is the school social worker who works with the T.B.D. students in the classroom to provide academic and emotional support.

Students of T.B.D. are students in 6^th to 12^th grade who were deemed to require additional support in the school setting.

The T.B.D. program was created at the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year to encourage school attendance and completion of high school by students who have been struggling with academics. Students in our program are typically at risk of not passing their classes, or possibly dropping out of school.

The students have been identified as students who could benefit from additional support. Teachers, students themselves, parents, or school administrators can recommend students for T.B.D.

How to join us…

We accept referrals from teachers, administrators, parents, and students (really anyone who wants to recommend a student can). 

We require an interview with the student to assess their expectations and interests in school, careers, hobbies, etc.  We will also contact the student's parents (or guardians) to discuss the program and expectations with them. 

We require the student and their parent (or guardian) to sign an Agreement to Participate in TBD Program prior to their joining us.
