Elementary News:

Grades 2&3 will be working on a career development program in their computer classes. They will be learning about a variety of careers and how their school subjects are related to the careers.

Grades 4 & 5 will be  working on a career development computer program, 3 times per month, during the months of February and March. They will be learning about different jobs, the kind of education and training needed to get that job and how the classes they take in school are related to these jobs.

Banana Splits is available for students in grades 1-3 and 4-5. We will begin the third week of October.  Permission slips will be sent home with students in early October.  If you would like more information about this program, please contact Mrs. Stetin. Students may start at any time before May.

Middle School News:

During the first and second semesters of school I will be working with Mrs. Desmond in her Family and Consumer Science classes.  We will be helping students navigate an online career development program called "Guidance Direct."  We will be helping students to complete an interest inventory and research three careers that they are interested in.  Students can access this program at home as well, because it is on the web.

High School News:

Currently I am scheduling meetings with 12th graders and their parents. We will be discussing post graduation plans and working together to help each student with their individual needs.
